By now, most of you have heard about the security breach at Adobe. As it turns out, hackers and attackers frequently use PDF files to ruin your day...and your finances if they can!
In response, Adobe shipped updates to its Flash Player which we presume will patch many of the security flaws. Flash player is used so much it is almost essential to surf the net.
So if you have Adobe Flash, don't delay. Your computer is at risk for trojans and other nasties offered by evil hearts on the net!
The Adobe security bulletin says if you have Flash Player 10.0.12.36 or an earlier version, then you should upgrade to 10.0.22.87.
If you are still using the old version, Flash Player 9, then you should upgrade to 188.8.131.52. If you are using Mac OS X and Linux, there is still a problem. Sorry to pass the bad news, but the security breach is wide spread. Best to update your installations to avoid nasty attacks.
Users who are unsure as to which version of Flash they have installed are advised to visit this link.
